Khanna- Mr. Dhruv Dahiya IPS, SSP/Khanna has disclosed by press Conference

that as per the directions of Sh. Dinkar Gupta, IPS. Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh & Sh. Ranbir Singh Khatra, IPS. Deputy Inspector General of Police Ludhiana Range, Ludhiana, keeping in mind the view of Lok Sabha Elections-2019, Khanna Police has set up the Nakabandies on City Sealing points, District Sealing Points,  increased the Highway Patrollings & also set up the Special Mobile-Nakas on Highway in the jurisdiction of Police District Khanna. The heavy Police Force has been deployed on these Nakabandies for conducting the checking of Vehicles.
  Khanna Police have achieved huge success today i.e. 29.03.19. When, Under the Supervision of Sh. Hans Raj PPS, DSP/I/Khanna, Insp. Karnail Singh SHO/Doraha and ASI Mohinderpal Singh alongwith police party were checking the suspected vehicles/persons during the Mobile-Nakabandi Opposite McDonald (Food Court) G.T. Road Doraha. While Checking, a informer passed the information about Black money that the group of few people who are  leading the illegal racket of Black money (Hawala-money) & many people are also involved in this racket.
  Today, they are travelling from Jalandhar to Ambala side by Car numbers PB-10-GB-0269 (Ford EcoSport), PB-02-BN-3938 (Innova) & PB-06-AQ-8020 (Maruti Breeza). If, Police Party will check these cars, huge Black money (illegal Indian Currency) could be recovered. After getting the information, Insp. Karnail Singh SHO/Doraha, ASI Mohinderpal Singh alongwith police party have started the proper checking of all vehicles, which were coming from Jalandhar-Ludhiana side.
  While checking, all three cars (PB-10-GB-0269 (Ford EcoSport), PB-02-BN-3938 (Innova), & PB-06-AQ-8020 (Maruti Breeza) were coming from Ludhiana side. Police party stopped them for checking purpose. The occupants of Car no. PB-10-GB-0269 (Ford EcoSport) were identified themselves as Anthony S/o Pappu R/o partappura PS/Lambra District Jalandhar, who is priest in Church at Village Partappura & Rachpal Singh S/o Sukha Singh R/o HNo. 284, Wno.3, Bhikhiwind PS/Bhikiwind, District Tarn Taran. Second car no. PB-02-BN-3938 (Innova) occupants were identified themselves as Ravinder Lingayat @ Ravi S/o Madhukar R/o Hno. 103, Kartike Park, Derabali Panvil, New Mumbai & Shivangi  Lingayat W/o Ravinder Lingayat R/o Hno. 103, Kartike Park, Derabali Panvil, New Mumbai & Ashok Kumar S/o Anant Ram R/o Gawabhi P.O. Namhol PS/Sadar/Bilaspur District Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) and the third Car no. PB-06-AQ-8020 (Maruti Breeza) occupant was identified himself as Harpal Singh S/o Harjit Singh R/o Hno. 321, Choti baradari, PS/Division no. 7, Jalandhar.
  On the frisking of all three cars, an amount of 9 Crore 66 Lacs 61 thousand 700/- Rupees (Black money) have been recovered. All persons, vehicles & whole recovered Indian Currency (Black money) have handed over to Sh. Vimal Madan, ITO, Sh. Varinder Kumar ITO alongwith Team (Investigation Wing) Ludhiana & Sh Deepak Rajpoot, Asst. Director Enforcement Jalandhar, for the further investigation.
