Khanna- Mr. Dhruv Dahiya, IPS. Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna has disclosed in a press note that as per the directions of Worthy Sh. Suresh Arora, IPS Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh & Sh. Ranbir Singh Khatra, IPS Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ludhiana Range, Ludhiana, started a special campaign against the Drug Trafficking/Theft/Robbery & misdemeanors, during this campaign, under the guidelines of Sh. Jasvir Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh. Jagwinder Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh. Deepak Rai PPS, DSP/Khanna, Inspector Baljinder Singh I/C/CIA/Khanna, SI Rajneesh Sood SHO/City-2/Khanna, ASI Shamsher Singh alongwith police party traced out the case FIR No. 121 dated 03.09.18 U/s 379 IPC PS/City-2/Khanna. Today, on 07.09.18, During the Nakabandi at Amloh Chowk Khanna, ASI Shamsher Singh alongwith police party were checking the Suspected vehicles, then the two persons were coming from the amloh side on a Motor Cycle Platina PB-26-E-7404 (which was stolen from Books Market Khanna) & tried to turn back after seeing the Police Naka. Police Party apprehended them & were identified as Manga @ Sunny S/o Ram Singh R/o Village Nangla PS Khammano Distt FGS. & Gursimran Singh @ Som Singh R/o Bhattian PS/City-1/Khanna. Police arrested the both & recovered the stolen bike. During the investigation, they were committed that the four another motorcycles (3 Splendor, 1Pulsar) were stolen by them in area of Mohali & Ludhiana districts.
