Community Development Cell of A.S. College Khanna organized
a medical camp in collaboration with NSS wing of the college. The camp was organized for creating awareness, prevention and treatment of Skin and Eye ailments. 185 students and 31 staff members received consultation and free medicine during the camp. Dr. Harpal Singh Bhatti, Convener Community Development Cell told that Dr. Richa Jerath (M.D. Skin) and Dr. Aditya Jerath (M.S. Ophthalmology), the renowned specialists from Jerath Eye and Skin Hospital Samrala provided consultation and free medicines to the patients.
Principal Dr. R.S. Jhanji welcomed and introduced the guests to the audience during the interactive session. Dr. Richa Jerath delivered an interactive lecture on Skin Care and disease prevention. Dr. Aditya Jerath talked on length about common eye ailments and treatment. College Secretary Sh. Tajinder Sharma, Principal and Staff honoured the speakers.
