A. S. College, Khanna celebrated Sanjhiwalta Diwas
to mark the birth of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Prof. Ravinderjeet Singh and Dr. Yadwinder Singh, conducted the stage and explained the students about the importance of celebration of Sanjiwalta Diwas. The college students presented Shabad under the supervision of Prof. Yogul, Head, Dept. of Music. On the occasion, Prof. Ravinderjit Singh, Dean, Curricular Activities, enlightened the students about Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s ideology. Thought provoking lecture was delivered by Dr. Harpreet Singh, Director, A. S. Group of Institutions. He emphasized on Guru Nanak Dev teachings on equality, selfless service and devotion to one God. He discussed Guru Nanak’s insistence on ‘Ik Onkar’, his rejection of rituals and superstitions and his commitment to values of Sewa and Simran. Dr. K. K. Sharma, Principal of the college advised the students to follow the teaching of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and thanked the managing committee, college staff and students for the active participation on the occasion. Shri Sanjeev Dhamija, Joint General Secretary and Treasurer of the Management motivated the college students to follow the path of universal brotherhood. Shri. Subodh Mittal, Secretary A. S. College of Education also enlightened the students about the Guru Nanak Dev Ji philosophy. Sh. Rajesh Dalli, Gen. Secretary & Shri Shivam Bedi, Secretary, M.G.C.A.S.
