International Women’s day celebrated at A.S. Group of Institutions, Khanna
A.S. Group of Institutions, Khanna celebrated International Women’s Day at its campus on the
theme “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”. Interacting on
the occasion, Dr. Harpreet Singh (Director) congratulated the students and highlighted the need
of having a balanced society and boosting the growth of women in the society. Prof. Surbhi Sofat
gave a detailed insight on the importance of gender emancipation. She brought out critical
figures regarding the plight of women in the society. Prof. Himanshi motivated the students to
chart their own path of success and took up lessons from the life of great women. Students were
encouraged to promote participation of women in decision making by investing in
entrepreneurship, developing more leadership roles and work for redefining the future of the
nation in these challenging times.
