Under the leadership of Mrs. Amneet Kondal IPS, Senior Superintendent
of Police Khanna, under supervision of Dr. Pragya Jain, IPS Superintendent Police (I) a special
campaign was launched to nab the criminals supplying weapons at inter-state level. Continuing this
campaign, Insp. Amandeep Singh Incharge CIA staff Khanna arrested a total of 05 accused in the said
case and recovered 05 weapons .32 bore, 10 magazines and a vehicle from the accused after
establishing forward & backward linkages.
On date 02.07.2023, CIA staff Khanna Police party was present at Amloh
Chowk, Khanna. During checking at naka they were informed by an informant that Gautam Sharma
@Goru, Rajinder Meena, Suresh Kumar and Sardar Gujjar used to carry out dacoity using weapons.
These accused snatched a white coloured Etios car with registration number RJ-14-TD-2822 and are
travelling from Rajasthan to Jalandhar carrying illegal weapons FIR No. 106 dated 02.07.2023 U/s
397, 379B, 34, 411 IPC and 25/54/59 Arms Act PS City Khanna was registered. In relation to this,
white coloured Etios car with registration number RJ-14-TD-2822 was stopped during barricading at
service road, near focal point Khanna. On questioning, the suspects gave their names as Suresh
Kumar S/o Laadhu Ram R/o Village Jaitpura, PS Lakshmangarh, District Sikar, Rajasthan, Gautam
Sharma@Goru S/o Gurdejeet Sharma R/o #WG/113, Islamganj, Jalandhar, Rajinder Meena S/o
Mahan lal Meena R/o Village Bhilwara, Rajasthan, Sardar Gujjar S/o Madan Lal Gujjar R/o
Village Bichen, District Jaipur, Rajasthan. During checking, 01 magazine of 0.32 bore pistol was
recovered from Suresh Kumar, 01 desi pistol 0.32 bore along with 01 magazine was recovered from
Gautam Sharma@Goru and 01 Kirch was recovered from Sardar Gujjar. Also, the snatched white
coloured Etios car with registration number RJ-14-TD-2822 was recovered from them. On this, above
said accused were arrested in the said case and further investigation was carried out.
During investigation, it came into light that the accused used to bring the
arms & ammunition from Madhya Pradesh. After establishing forwards and backward linkages & indepth questioning of Gautam Sharma, it was found that these accused brought these weapons from
Taqdeer Singh S/o Ratan Singh, R/o Singnoor, PS Goavan, District Khargon (Madhya Pradesh).
On which Taqdeer Singh was nominated in the said case. On the basis of this lead from accused
Gautam Sharma, Taqdeer Singh was arrested from Singnoor, PS Goavan, District Khargon
(Madhya Pradesh) on 05.07.2023 and 04 pistols .32 bore along with 08 magazines were recovered
from his possession.
Due to the prompt action of Khanna police, 05 accused have been arrested
and many major incidents have been averted. Further investigation of the case is going on. By arresting
