Suresh Arora, IPS Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh & Sh. Ranbir Singh Khatra, IPS Deputy Inspector General of Polcie, Ludhiana Range, Ludhiana, started a special campaign against the Drug Trafficking/Theft/Robbery & misdemeanors, during this campaign, under the guidelines of Sh. Jasvir Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh. Jagwinder Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh. Harsimrat Singh PPS, DSP/Samrala, Insp. Rajesh Kumar SHO/Machhiwara Sahib, ASI Ajmer Singh alongwith Police party has achieved a great success today i.e. 21.08.18. During the special checking/Nakabandi at Sua puli Noorpur road Machiwarra Sahib, the Police Party stopped the 05 suspected persons who were trying to ran away from the slums nearby. All the Suspected were Identified as Dukhna S/o Manoj Sahni R/o Sunvirsa Dumrighat PS Khakhriya (Bihar) now residing at Dashmesh Nagar Machiwarra Sahib, Laxman Kumar S/o Hari Das R/o Marbaz Laampur PS Birpur Distt Khakhriya (Bihar) now at jhugiya Balibeg Machiwarra Sahib, Shri Ram Pandit @ Kailash S/o Bhagwan Pandit R/o Dalabani Distt Khakhriya (Bihar) now at jhugiya Balibeg Machiwarra Sahib, Sanoj Kumar @ Takla S/o Ramesh Sahni R/o now at jhugiya Balibeg Machiwarra Sahib, Govinda S/o Manoj Sahni R/o Sunvirsa Dumrighat PS Khakhriya (Bihar) now residing at Dashmesh Nagar Machiwarra Sahib. On the frisking, Police has recovered the 09 Mobile Phones, 5,000/- Cash from the custody of above said persons. Further more, during the Investigation, they have accepted upto 13 Thefts, from the different shops. A case FIR No. 139 dated 21.08.18 U/s 457/380 IPC PS Machiwarra Sahib has been registered against above said accused.
