Ludhiana, Sept 16, 2018: Prominent Punjabi writer Jagdish Neelon (71) on Sunday passed away.
He was younger brother of Punjabi writer Kulwant Neelon and uncle of children literature's award winning writer Kamaljit Neelon.
Neelon breathed his last at his residence after returning from morning walk.
He was a poet and story writer who began his literary career with prominent Punjabi literary magazine Preetlari. His writing also appeared regularly in other literary magazines.
He had also worked as a journalist for Punjabi newspapers.
