Mr. Gursharandeep Singh Grewal PPS, SSP/Khanna disclosed by press Conference that Khanna Police has achieved a success today i.e. 20.06.19 under the guidelines of Sh. Jasvir Singh, PPS, SP (Inv.), Sh. Hans Raj, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh Jatinderpal Singh PPS, DSP/Narcotic/Khanna, Sh. Deepak Rai PPS, DSP/Khanna, Insp. Baljinder Singh SHO/Sadar/Khanna's SI Bakshish Singh alongwith police party was patrolling from khanna to Daheru side through service-lane, in the search of suspected persons/vehicles. While patrolling, Police party found two suspected persons near Sports Stadium of Village Libra, who carried a bag (colour brown). After seeing the police party, they tried to divert their way. On the suspicion, police party stopped them for checking purpose. They were identified as Jiwan Singh (aged 40 years) S/o Ishwar Singh R/o Bordia Khurd PS/Nimach Distt. Nimach (M.P) & Dinesh (aged 46 years) S/o Basanti Lal R/o Barkhera Loya PS/Groth Distt. Mandgor (M.P). DSP/Khanna was also present on the spot during the checking of above said persons. On the frisking of their bag, 6 Kg of Opium was recovered (which was wrapped in polythene). A case FIR No. 137, Dt. 20.06.19 U/S 18/61/85 NDPS Act PS/Sadar/Khanna has been registered & arrested them. The culprits are still being questioned & there is a possibility of major disclosures.
