Regional Office of Punjab Pollution Control Board, Fatehgarh Sahib in association with Executive Officer, Khanna has organized awareness various programs at the Office of MC Khanna and in the Green Grove Public School, Khanna to mark the celebration on International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies.
Safai Sewaks of the city were made aware about the importance of cleanliness and the importance of their role in the city. A Nukad natak and awareness rally by Walia Sen. Sec. Public School & SD Sen. Sec. School Khanna was taken out in the city making people aware about the importance of clean air. The students of the school spoke about the importance of clean air for the human being, its health effects and preservation of clean environment for the coming generations. The overwhelming response and awareness towards the environment has been appreciated by the all the dignitaries and audience present at the function.
