Ludhiana, April 24:
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal and Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal, an NGO has come up with an awareness song related to Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19). As India along with the rest of the world grapples with the grimness of COVID 19, the citizens of Ludhiana have come together to come up with a song as a testimony to the fact that Punjab is a land of undaunted spirit, solidarity and strength.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that this song is a symbol of collective hope, faith and positive outlook during these extremely trying times. The song has been written by Mrs Srishti Jaitwani, composed by Mr Sanjeev Sharma, sung by Miss Shivika Sharma, Mr Sanminder Singh and presented by a city based publishing company CrossWrite.
The citizen video made on this song features participation from artists, entrepreneurs, social activists, educationists, bureaucrats and people from all strata of our society.
Mrs Radhika Jaitwani greatly facilitated this initiative and even featured in it along with other good samaritans of our city including Mrs Mridula Jain, Mr Ranjodh Singh, Mrs Narender Sandhu, Mrs Bhupinder Gogia, Mr Vishal Kumar, Mrs Vinu Kumar, Dr. Niharika Vatsyayan, Dr. Ashutosh Vatsyayan, Mr. Ravi Karan Jaitwani, Mr Prabhjyot Singh, Miss Amandeep Kaur, Mr Pranav Bhandari, Miss Navya Chopra, Nobel foundation (Miss Muskaan) and Master Ojas Vatsyayan.
The citizen morale was further boosted by participation of Mr. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Agrawal Commissioner of Police Ludhiana, Mr. RK Bakshi, SSP Vigilance Bureau, Mohali Range, Punjab and Mr. Dharam Paul Juneja, ACP Model Town, Jalandhar.
The citizens, through this song have paid tribute to the police, doctors, nurses and all of our collective providers and caregivers. The citizen video ends on a hopeful note expressing our solidarity in the form of a hashtag saying that we are all in this together.
