Divya, a student of M.Sc Chemistry 2022 Batch of A.S. College Khanna has qualified GATE exam conducted by IISC Bangalore with All India Rank of 246. She has also qualified JRF in Joint CSIR-UGC NET examination in Chemical Sciences with All India Rank of 31. She has got admission to PhD in Chemistry at IIT Ropar and also received offer letter from IISC Bangalore and IIT Bombay. It is a pride moment for the parents, faculty and management of A.S. College Khanna. Divya was honoured at A.S. College by Principal Dr. K.K. Sharma, Head of Chemistry Department Prof Ravinder Jeet Singh, Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Dr. Monika Thakur and Dr. Yadwinder Singh Deol,,College Superintendent Sh. Parveen Handa. Sh. Sunil Watson and Mangat Singh were also present on the occasion. Simranjeet Kaur former student and Faculty member in the current session has also qualified JRF examination and has got admission in PhD at NCL Pune. Pulkit Khullar and Komalpreet Kaur of M.Sc Chemistry have also qualified GATE Examination 2024. Jaskaran Singh got 3rd Position in the Panjab University Examination and received degree in the Convocation held at University Campus. Recently, Narinder Pal Singh Student of M.Sc 2021-23 batch, has also qualified CSIR-NET exam for Lectureship. Seema from the same batch has been offered enrolment to Ph.D at the University of Kentucky, USA. It is worth mentioning here that Bulle Shah, a former student and faculty member of the department is already pursuing Ph.D in Chemistry at IIT Ropar.
